I have an awesome girlfriend. I think she’s the bee’s knees. She laughs a lot, which is what I look for in a person.
I am interested in ui/ux design and related subjects. I have created a few websites and am working on other projects. A recent project involved compiling information about the Jesusita fire. Since then, I have begun researching the use of open source technology –tools like WordPress, the Sahana Project, the Ushahidi Platform, and \o/– in disaster response.
At times, I have written a blog, and have experimented with an account on Tumblr as well as on Twitter. In general, I found that I don’t really enjoy writing about my personal life all that much.
Bio
I grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley. I acted in plays, raised guide dogs, played waterpolo, became an Eagle Scout, and worked with SBCSAR.
I attended UC Santa Barbara for four years. I studied globalization (dochakuka!) and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Global and International Studies Department. I spent one quarter at UCDC studying international trade policy.
I enjoy backpacking and photography. I have climbed in the San Juans, trekked through the Cimarrons, and traveled to 30 states.
